She trains with positive reinforcement, never punishment! She is very patient and will always make herself available for questions or concerns.
Amber truly loves dogs (and all animals) and working with them to reach their full potential. Amber & her husband have helped to get many stray, injured and unwanted animals into reputable rescues.
Amber has helped me personally with my 4 dogs, Radar, Gemini, Katie & Gus, as well as foster dogs I have had over the years. She has also volunteered her time to work with foster dogs in rescues to ensure they are well adjusted and ready to be adopted as loving family members.

We are second time dog owners. We thought we had it in the bag, until we realized we had gotten ourselves into a whole lotta terrier. Our little dog Grizzly was hard to train, and stubborn about his house training. Amber walked us through a couple of different plans until we found one that worked - door bells! While we still have a ways to go for Grizz to be fully trained, Amber's suggestions, consultations and follow ups have been a saving grace. Thanks, Amber!

I cannot recommend Loyal Paws Dog Training enough. Amber is a thorough and knowledgeable trainer. She wrote me a comprehensive training plan the exactly met my needs and even some things that I did not know would benefit my dog. As we live in an isolated place, having a training program that did not require travel was a necessity. Amber was available to assist me when we needed extra help as well and consulted me with what I wanted to achieve with the training. This resulted in a totally personalized lesson plan. Each command is explained in great detail, making me feel able and capable of teaching. The lessons increase in complexity as my dog learns. My dog and my relationship has deepened with the training and we have become partners.
Loyal Paws Dog Training has been indispensable to me and my dog. Amber is an expert!

Amber has been helping me to instill more confidence in my golden retriever, Parker. Parker’s lack of confidence causes resource guarding and behaviours with strangers that range from over excited barking to outright growling and in worst case scenarios, a snap.
The biggest thing that Amber has done for me is helping me to set up a plan to help Parker’s confidence, understand his behaviour, and remain completely non judgmental the whole time. I can't thank Amber enough for her constant encouragement and understanding while she worked (and still works) with us to improve Parker’s confidence and social skills. She has made reaching out for help a very positive experience, and I will always be grateful for her professional and personal touch. Her ability to help me make a plan from a distance as well, doing this online, is also a pretty big kudos! Honestly thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so open, encouraging and non judgmental.

When I first got my dog she was 3 months old, had never had human contact, and only lived outside with her mom and 3 other siblings. The first day she arrived at my house as a foster, she actually bit my arm out of fear.
She was fearful of everything... being petted, wearing collars, walking off of our property. But Amber stepped in and gave soo much awesome training advice. To this day when I tell everyone Barbie’s story, Amber is always a huge part of that happily ever after tale.
My Barbie is now the perfect (okay, maybe I’m a bit bias😏), such a momma’s dog, and I owe it all to the amazing Amber🐾♥️
And I not only have had the pleasure of working with her for my own dog, I have also seen her work magic with many other fosters in rescue experiencing difficulties. I’ve have learned a lot from these situations and always in awe at her professionalism. And I hope to learn more from her in the future !
